A Season Steeped in Traditions at Caldera Springs

Celebrate the Holidays in Central Oregon’s Winter Wonderland

At Caldera Springs, winter unfolds with a quiet kind of magic—snow settling over the pines, the crackle of a fire, the joyful hum of families coming together. This year, our annual Traditions returns—bringing a full calendar of festive experiences designed to make every moment with your loved ones unforgettable.

This season’s lineup blends the warmth of classic favorites with a few delightful new additions. Start the holidays with the Annual Turkey Wobble 3K Fun Walk, complete with lively music, cozy knit gloves and hot cocoa. Fridays bring the return of Family S’mores Nights, when the community gathers around the fire at Forest House to toast marshmallows.

Younger guests can drop letters in Santa’s special mailbox at Forest House or solve the mystery of Holiday Clue throughout Caldera Springs. Sip N’ S’mores adds a savory twist to the fireside ritual, pairing melted cheeses and seasonal bites with winter cocktails.

Stressed about planning for the holidays? We have it covered. Holiday feasts return to Lake House, where Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners showcase festive menus and mountain views, and the Family New Year’s Eve Celebration closes out the year with games, crafts and a sparkling cider toast at 9 PM.

Beyond the events, there’s joy to be found in every corner of Caldera Springs—from racing down the sledding hill at Forest Park to exploring frosted trails that wind through the forest. Whether you join for a weekend or the entire season, the magic of the holidays is alive and well in Central Oregon’s premier residential resort community.
